We are a group of
health practitioners from a wide range of disciplines, dedicated to the collaborative exploration, practice, and
advancement of the emerging discipline of Health Medicine.
We have organized
ourselves into three distinct groups, which offers multiple benefits to
our clients and members:

Forum is a
non-profit educational foundation founded in 1994.
HMF sponsors events covering a wide range of healthcare issues and
multiple disciplines We also have membership programs with valuable
benefits for both practitioners and the public;

Research
sponsors and conducts clinical studies in frontier medicine.

Len Saputo, MD

Dr.
Saputo graduated from UC Berkeley and Duke University
Medical School.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, he has been in
private practice at John Muir Medical Center from 1971
to 2004. Len is a pioneer in bridging the gap between
mainstream and "the new" Complementary and Alternative
Medicine. He is the founder of the Health Medicine
Forum, a nonprofit educational foundation, and the
Health Medicine Center, and co-founder of the Health
Medicine Institute for Research in Lafayette,
California. Dr. Saputo is a motivational speaker, radio
show host with his wife Vicki, and the author of many books
and articles.
Among other
publications and papaers, Len is the author of the new book,
"A
Return to Healing — Radical Health Care Reform and the
Future of Medicine"

Geoffrey Marx, NC

Geoffrey
Marx is a consultant dedicated to helping clients find their
path to expanded states of wellbeing. Through cultivating
meaningful dialogue and taking the necessary time to get a
sense of a person's health history, he provides a
personalized and targeted report of findings that addresses
core health challenges at the root level. Geoffrey is a
Certified Nutrition Consultant and Educator. He is a
graduate of Bauman College in Berkeley and holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree from San Francisco State University in
Humanities and Philosophy. Currently the President of the
Health Medicine Forum, he has also been the staff
nutritionist at the Health Medicine Center since 2006.
Geoffrey maintains a private practice, MarxConsulting,
in Moraga where he devotes considerable time and energy to
research, consciousness studies and strategies for wellness.

| Nirinjan
Bikko Yee is a Massage Therapist, Movement Therapist and
Personal Trainer with 25 years experience. She is certified
trainer in the Gyrotonic Expansion System®, a
certified teacher of the Franklin Method, and a certified
practitioner of Craniosacral Therapy, Middendorf Breathwork,
Acupressure, and Lomi Somatic Work. Nirinjan has developed
somatic education and movement therapy programs for mental
health centers in Chicago, IL, and for the San Francisco
General Hospital Refugee Clinic. In addition, Nirinjan has
taught her work to the staff of the Unversitatsklinik
Innsbruck, department of psychosomatic psychiatry.

Dr. Michael
Mayer is a licensed psychologist and medical Qigong teacher
who specializes in self-healing methods for physical and
mental health. He is the author of ten publications on
bodymind healing including four books, audiotapes on cancer
and chronic disease, articles on chronic pain and anxiety, a
DVD on Qigong self-healing methods, a River of Life CD which
combines a guided imagery practice with somatic awareness,
and peer-reviewed articles on hypertension. His book,
Bodymind Healing Psychotherapy, has received
endorsements from top leaders in mind-body medicine, and
integrates traditional forms of psychotherapy with leading
edge bodymind healing methods from Western and Eastern
traditions. Dr. Mayer presents his approach to bodymind
healing at professional conferences, hospitals, and
workshops at leading-edge venues such as the Association for
Comprehensive Energy Psychology. |

Ofer Erez has
dedicated his life to learning about and teaching health,
fitness and movement in the wisest, safest, most natural,
and most useful ways possible. Throughout the last two
decades, Ofer has taught hundreds of students the Sugi
techniques for better health, better workouts and reaching
goals that seemed unattainable in other settings. A Yoga
Master, a certified massage therapist, Reiki Master and
certified Feldenkrais® teacher, Ofer has also written
numerous articles on improving coordination and range of
motion and holistic exercise, and he delivers presentations
and workshops throughout the Bay Area. |

Masha Henzel
is a clinical exercise specialist, personal trainer and
health fitness instructor specializing in MAT (muscle
activation technique) which eliminates muscle and joint pain
by reactivating the muscles to function properly and to
re-align the body, while focusing on the causes of your
pain, not just the symptoms. Masha does “body work”, range
of motion, gait training, clinical exercises, and much more.
She works well with athletes as well as the disabled, and
enjoys working concurrently with our other practitioners. |

| Dr. Rubik
has her PhD in Biophysics from UC Berkeley. She is a
biomedical scientist and health educator who provides
laboratory and clinical assessments of stress, the heart,
nervous system and breathing. She also offers
acupuncture meridian and other subtle energetic analyses.
Clients are advised on ways to improve their health through
lifestyle changes. Dr. Rubik is a former advisor to NIH and
conducts ongoing research in frontier medicine. |

licensed as a medical doctor in the state of Virginia, I am
not licensed as such in California, since I do not practice
medicine here. Therefore, I do not use the title of M.D. in
advertising my therapeutic services in California.
Dr. Rocki
assists those who are committed to disease prevention and to
self-healing. After 25 years of conventional medical
practice in OB/GYN and internal medicine as well as research
in academic institutions, Wes’s interests evolved into
complementary healing arts, which he mastered over the last
several years and practices now exclusively. Guided by

he selects the most effective methods to accomplish healing
including techniques such as Hypnotherapy, PSYCH-K, Matrix
